Rimapere, Marlborough

Perfectly situated on the iconic Rapaura Road, also known as the “Golden Mile” of Marlborough. Here, in the north of New Zealand’s South Island, lies Rimapere: a winery where elegance, terroir, and craftsmanship converge. The name Rimapere means “five arrows” in Maori – a nod to the Rothschild family crest and an ode to adventure and discovery.

Sauvignon with a Signature

Rimapere is the dream project of Baron Benjamin de Rothschild, who sought to create his ultimate Sauvignon Blanc in this extraordinary part of New Zealand. The location near the Wairau River, with alluvial soils full of stones and gravel, ensures perfectly ripening grapes. Combine that with a cool climate and sustainable viticulture, and the result is Sauvignon Blanc with precision, energy, and character.
