Château des Laurets, Bordeaux
The origins of Château des Laurets date back centuries; the vineyard is situated on land where viticulture has been practiced since the Middle Ages. The current estate, featuring its 19th-century Château, was acquired in 2003 by Benjamin and Ariane de Rothschild and integrated into the Edmond de Rothschild Heritage portfolio. Since then, the house has been dedicated to becoming a benchmark within the Right Bank appellations of Bordeaux.
Modernity from Old Vines
At Château des Laurets, the focus is on allowing the terroir and the old vines to speak for themselves. The wines are predominantly crafted from Merlot and typically undergo an extended aging process of approximately 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels. As part of Edmond de Rothschild Heritage, Château des Laurets contributes to a broader philosophy of stewardship regarding terroir, heritage and quality.
