Apostelhoeve, South Limburg
Atop the picturesque Louwberg in the Jeker Valley of South Limburg lies the Apostelhoeve: the oldest and one of the largest wine estates in the Netherlands. Modern Dutch viticulture began here in 1970, when Hugo Hulst decided to plant the first vines on this historic slope.
What once started with 1,400 bottles in 1973 has grown into a production of over 110,000 bottles per year. Today, the Apostelhoeve covers 20 hectares of vineyards, featuring five grape varieties that exclusively produce white wines.
